1st Time Guest At New Hope?

What To Expect When You Visit New Hope

Parking

Our parking lot is very accessible and there is wheel chair parking available. The earlier you arrive the better place you will find.

Before the Service

As you enter the doors of New Hope, you will be welcomed by our friendly and helpful greeters who will offer you a bulletin listing all of our upcoming events. If you have children, feel free to take advantage of our wonderful children's ministries offered for your children, from infants to 5th graders. Simply follow the signs located conveniently throughout the building, or ask one of our greeters to assist you in finding the different ministry areas. Upon entering the sanctuary, look for one of our ushers for assistance in finding a good seat, or just help yourself to the main floor seating.

During the Service

At the start of the service, we kick off our community worship time with one or two energetic songs, you are welcome to stand and join in, or to sit and observe us as we serve God with energetic and passionate expressions of worship. Colorful stage lighting and song lyrics will be displayed on the large video screen to assist you in joining us.

Afterwards, one of our staff pastors will welcome our guests to New Hope, and offer you instructions about filling out the guest information cards, which are conveniently located in the seat back of the chair in front of you. Please fill out the card and 1) place it in the offering bag during the offertory, 2) hand it to any of our ushers, or 3) bring it to the Involvement Center Counter located in the main foyer immediately after the service. By filling out this card it give us an opportunity to thank you for visiting with us. In addition, the card allows you the opportunity to list any special prayer requests that our staff can pray for on your behalf. Most importantly, you will not be contacted for any donations. It only helps us to get to know you better. Someone from our staff will contact you during the week to offer you more information about us.

Then after a few brief announcements we will continue with our community worship time and conclude with a time of prayer and prayer teams will be available in the front to pray for people and their individual needs.

Later in the service, as we worship the Lord in the giving of our tithes and offerings, you are once again welcome to participate or simply to observe. There will be NO pressure placed on you to participate in this portion of the service. At the end of each service, you will be given the opportunity to respond to the message delivered by the day's speaker, and there will be a host of caring, compassionate prayer leaders standing in front to join with you in prayer.

After the Service

After the service, feel free to meet one of our pastors out in the main foyer area and get to know them better. On a quarterly basis we host "Connect" a place where you can get to know more about the Vision, Purpose and History of New Hope while getting to know more about Pastor Malcolm as well.
