Favorite Bible personality and why: Peter.  He was guy that was always putting his foot in his mouth and didn't know when to quit talking but the transformation that Christ did in his life is mind blowing.  He went from a man of insecurity and fear to the leader of the early church. 

Favorite scripture and why: Colossians 3:15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. (NIV)  This verse has been my favorite since I was in High School.  It's a constant reminder to allow God's peace to rule our hearts.  When I keep that in my mind then it's hard to let and other feelings or emotions take over.

Your vision for your ministry at New Hope:  My vision for the youth at New Hope and in South County to have a safe place; a place that they can come and experience/worship God using the gifts and talents that they've been given.  I want to see student unafraid to declare Christ.  

Favorite movies:  I have too many favorite movies.  I love action films, war films, comedies.  I just really enjoy movies.

Favorite vacation place: My favorite place to go to for a quick vacation is Disneyland, it's great to just drive down and spend a few days at the Happiest Place on Earth.  My favorite place that I've ever vacationed is Sicily.  Just outside of Palermo on the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Favorite sports team(s):  I am a die hard San Jose Sharks fan, SF Giants fan, and 49er fan!

Favorite family activities: Laura and I love to go on bike rides together.  We also love getting together with people for game nights, board games, card games, any type of game with people.
