Pastor Scott has served at New Hope Community Church since 2005. He has been in ministry since 1999 and has filled various roles including Youth Pastor, Young Adult Pastor and Administrative Pastor. He graduated from the late Bethany University and currently serves as Teaching Pastor.

Pastor Scott and his wife, Shannon, have been married since January 2010. A few of their favorite things include Chipotle veggie burritos, the Alliance (Go Home Horde!) and a little dog named Coco. When they pay attention to sports they typically cheer for any team playing against the Raiders, Lakers or Dodgers. Ok, maybe just Scott.

If you spend enough time talking with Pastor Scott you will you will notice frequent references to the Sermon on the Mount and other teachings on the Kingdom of God. It is his hope that everyone catch the vision that Jesus shares about that kingdom and its nearness.
